Hello everyone!

👋

I’m Swati, an illustrator, independent learning experience designer and mum to an almost one-year-old little girl!

Between creating illustrations, experimenting with interactive learning activities and watching my daughter discover the world one tiny thing at a time, I’ve become increasingly fascinated by how children learn through play, curiosity and exploration.

Sometimes, all it takes is a simple illustration, a playful question or a little interactive game to turn an ordinary learning moment into something genuinely exciting.

That’s what inspired me to create The Playful Learning Lab.

I’d love for this to become a space where educators and creative minds exchange ideas, experiment with interactive activities, explore educational games and discuss how technology can support more imaginative learning experiences.

I’m also creating illustrated, play-based activities through Tiny Art Desk, and I’m particularly excited to learn from educators about what actually works with children, beyond what looks good on paper (or a screen!).

So, let’s start with a question:

💬 What’s one activity, game or creative teaching trick that made your students unexpectedly excited to learn?

It could be something wonderfully simple, completely unconventional or even something you tried by accident.

I’d love to hear your stories, ideas and experiments!

Here’s to making learning a little more playful! 🎨

Swati
